Museum Camps

Find wonderful ways to keep your children busy at the Museum of Arts and Sciences. Kids get to explore the entire museum:from wonderful art and science exhibits to live animals and the final frontier in the Mark Smith Planetarium. 

Camp Info

All Camp sessions are for the following age levels:
5-12

All campers attend a week of camp and need to be registered for a full day (art and science). Campers staying all day will need to bring lunch and a drink for a supervised lunch break.

Meet a monkey, explore the stars, examine an X-ray, paint a portrait, spy with your eyes, discover your talents, study a skeleton (model, of course) and make many friends.  All this and a whole museum world more are waiting for children at Camp Discovery.

9 a.m-4p.m.; 8:30 a.m. drop-off/5:00 p.m. pick-up $30/wk

Members $125, Non-members $145/wk

A $20 sibling discount is offered for families with more than one child registering.

Registration begins on April 21. Advanced registration is required at least five days prior to the first day of camp.  Please note enrollment is limited.  Three ways to register: (1) e-mail camps@masmacon.com; (2) call 478-477-3232 ext. 204; or (3) come to the Museum for a drop-in camp registration event on Saturday, May 3 from 1-3 p.m. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made two weeks prior to the class and a 20% handling fee will be charged.  No refunds will be given for cancellations of camp reservations less than two weeks in advance of the beginning of the camp session.

Volunteers

Looking for a rewarding experience? Volunteers, ages 14 and up, are needed to assist with all camp sessions. Contact 477-3232 ext. 203 or volunteer@masmacon.com.
